Constructors Cycling Experience

Our CEO, Saheb Dhesi, and COO, Jonathan Crouch, and our SHEQ Director, Ruth Trant, participated in a Constructors Cycling Experience with Michael Barratt MBE from Transport for London using Santander Cycle Hire to gain insights from a cyclist's perspective. This ride allowed them to visit several sites and discuss how best to design safer cycling interventions in construction.

During the session, there was a focus on identifying key road and footway users, understanding the types of challenges they may have, and ensuring smooth, accessible mobility for all.

They also explored how DGP can collaborate on master planning construction logistics that integrate:

- Vision Zero

- Disability Equality

- Safer and more secure temporary environments

- Reduced environmental impacts
